How Many Groups FIH Hockey WC 2023 Teams Divided?

A total of 16 teams participated this year, with each team consisting of 4 sub divided. 24 group games will be played before the playoffs.

  • Once the group stage is complete the 9th-16th place quarterfinals compete.
  • The quarter-finals will be held on January 24 and 25 respectively
  • Semi-finals will be held on the same day (January 27, 2023)
  • The Kalinga Stadium, which had a capacity of 20,000 at the time, will host the final on 29 January 2023.

Who is the Hosting Nations of FIH World Cup 2023?

India became the host country for the second time at the FIH Hockey World Cup, the previous tournament being held at the same venue in 2018. The two cities for all the matches are Bhubaneswar and Rulkera.
