Drafted GT Players: Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill

Gujarat has spent 15 crores on their new captain Hardik Pandya. Afghan leg break thrower Rashid Khan was bought at the same price, making the two of the highest paid players on the GT side. Indian drummer Shubman Gill was also bought ahead of the auction for 7 crores. Gujarat spent a lot of money on Rahul Tewatia, the perfect striker, buying him 9 crores, while Mohammed Shami tied 6.25 crores. Other Indian players nominated for auction are Wriddhiman Saha (1.9 crores), Jayant Yadav (1.7 crores) and Vijay Shankar (1.4 crores).

Overseas Players:

Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, David Miller, Matthew Wade, Alzarri Joseph, Jason Roy, Dominic Drakes, Noor Ahmad

New Zealand’s fast-moving Lockie Ferguson has been leading the overseas purchase by auction with 10 crores. Gujarat also named South African batsman David Miller by 3 crores, Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade and West Indies skipper Alzarri Joseph by 2.4 crores each. England opener Jason Roy was bought for 2 crores, but dropped out of the tournament.

Indigenous Indian Players: Rahul Tewatia, Yash Dayal, R. Sai Kishore, Abhinav Sadarangan, Darshan Nalkande, B. Sai Sudharsan, Pradeep Sangwan

Gujarat slammed Yash Dayal and R. Sai Kishore 3.2 crores and 3 crores respectively, while Abhinav Sadarangan ws bought 2.6 crores. Darshan Nalkande, B. Sai Sudharsan, and Pradeep Sangwan were bought for their basic price of 20 lakhs.
