Peshawar Zalmi, The Khpal Team is the most successful franchise in the history of the Pakistan Super League. Since the inaugural season in 2016, they are the only team to reach qualifier stages in every season. They reached the final in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

Batters
Just like in previous seasons, Zalmi’s batting line up is looking solid for PSL X. Babar Azam, considered to be the backbone of the Khpal Team, will get assistance from young guns, Saim Ayub and Abdul Samad at the top of the order. Najibullah Zadran and Max Bryant are the other names available for Peshawar throughout the season.
WicketKeepers
Tom Kohler Cadmore and Muhammad Haris are the wicketkeeper batsmen present in the squad of Peshawar Zalmi for the PSL 10. Both these are famous for their power hitting and can really set the stage on fire owing to their exceptional talent.
All Rounders
Under the all rounders category, the 2017 Champions have signed Hussain Talat, Maaz Sadaat, and Mitchel Owen. Previously, Corbin Bosch was part of the team but he dumped his contract with Zalmi for playing in IPL. PCB has issued a legal notice to him and Bosch responded by citing financial security as the primary reason.
Spin Bowlers
Arif Yaqoob, Mehran Mumtaz, and Sufiyan Muqeem will lead the spin bowling attack for Zalmi. All eyes are on Sufiyan as he has earned a solid reputation for his left arm wrist spin bowling. Now, he got the real chance to thump his authority.
Pace Attack
The one department where Zalmi struggled in the previous season is their Pace attack. To tackle this, the owners have signed Alzarri Joseph under the supplementary category. Besides, the Under-19 sensation, Ali Raza, is also part of Peshawar’s squad. Now, it will be worth watching how he will put the opponents under pressure with his seaming deliveries. Other options include Ahmad Daniyal and Nahid Rana.
